  Steve ,Konstantin  Sawin was born in Bialystok, Poland .  After completing his education there, he left the country and permanently resides in Canada, where he had the opportunity to develop his artistic interests and aspirations. He studied  Visual Arts at Ontario College of Art and Design University at Drawing and Painting Faculty .In addition, he  mastered his skills at number of  art education facilities ; such as,  Mohawk College, Dundas Valley School of Art ,Paul Richard James Atelier, The "Sacred Art "Iconography studio in Petersburg ,Russia and The Prosopon School of Iconology,N.Y,USA. He works as a muralist and commissioned artists.
As a Canadian citizen, and Orthodox Christian  of Polish-Russian heritage he lives and works in Hamilton, Ontario. 
He is specialized mainly in mural commissions ,as well in  portrait and landscape commissions . His   main inspiration in non commercial art are motifs of the local,  Eastern Orthodox culture from the vicinity of Podlasie region in Poland ; namely, the landscape and  nature of the land near  Belarusian borderland and the sprit of the  Orthodox culture  there .
